Welcome to Black Bow Market, home of Blooming Lather Soapworks. By visiting blackbowmarket.com or purchasing from us, you agree to the terms below. Please read them — they're short and written in plain language.

Who we are

Black Bow Market is a small, family-run business based in Keller, Texas. We make cold process soap in small batches and sell it online, at local markets, and through select marketplaces. You can reach us at admin@blackbowmarket.com.

Our products

All of our soaps are handmade. Colors, patterns, scent strength, and bar weight will vary from batch to batch and from the product photos. Listed net weights are minimums at the time of packaging; handmade soap naturally loses a small amount of water weight as it continues to cure.

Our products are cosmetic soaps intended for external use only. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition, and nothing on this site should be taken as medical advice. Ingredients are listed on each product page — please review them and patch test if you have sensitive skin or allergies. Keep out of eyes and away from small children and pets.

Pricing and availability

Prices are in U.S. dollars and may change without notice. Because we make everything by hand in limited batches, products may sell out; we'll notify you promptly if an item you ordered is unavailable and refund or substitute with your approval. We reserve the right to correct pricing or listing errors, and to cancel any order affected by an error before it ships.

Orders and payment

Placing an order is an offer to purchase; we accept it when we ship. Payment is processed securely through Shopify Payments and our other listed payment providers — we never see or store your full card details. You agree to provide accurate, current billing and shipping information.

Shipping, returns, and refunds

Shipping details are in our Shipping Policy, and returns are covered in our Refund Policy. Both are part of these terms.

Wholesale

Wholesale purchases are governed by a separate wholesale agreement. Contact us for details.

Your account and conduct

If you create an account, keep your login information secure and let us know if it's compromised. You agree not to use this site for anything unlawful, to scrape or copy content without permission, or to interfere with the site's operation.

Content and intellectual property

The Black Bow Market and Blooming Lather Soapworks names, logos, product names, photographs, and written content on this site are ours (or used with permission) and may not be reproduced without written consent. Product names that reference well-known fragrances are our own interpretations; we are not affiliated with or endorsed by the referenced brands.

Reviews and submissions

If you send us a review, photo, or comment, you give us permission to use it in our marketing without compensation. We may remove submissions that are offensive, misleading, or unrelated to our products.

Third-party links and marketplaces

Our site may link to social media and other third-party sites, and we sell through third-party marketplaces. We aren't responsible for those platforms' content or practices; their own terms apply there.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Black Bow Market's liability for any claim related to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for the product in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Some states don't allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Tarrant County, Texas.

We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top tells you when. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
